I like to get her in when the marina opens (April 15th - why pay $5500 if you don't use it), then it's usually a little to cold to run, so I use the next 2-3 weeks to get work done around the house and in the yard... By the time I wrap up the house work it's time to go boating.. I guess I'll just have to do it all in reverse this year...
i hear ya. why waste even more more. i leave mine on the trailer but i pay for a slip for the weekends. erin and i sleep at the marina almost every weekend. if its too cold or too hot we sleep on my fathers or erins fathers boat. my fathers boat is right behind me and erins fathers is a few slips down from us. we have it made!!! you ever sleep on the apache?

First pic is my cabin looking rearward, headroom is about 5'10" when you first go in and 5'8" as you go forward. I don't have any forward pics on my work computer but here's a pic from one that's in the classifieds but you get the idea. The forward berth is about 8 ft long at it's longest point, I'd say is close to the size of a queen sized bed.
