Here comes spring!!!
 

Since this is the NE section , one thing most of us have in common is that great day in early spring waking up our pride & joy after it's long winters hibernation.So I thought I'd start a thread were we could share some pics of our unveiling day. Here are a couple I took today.How about some others?

i was going to open it up yesterday but didnt get a chance. i was going to wait until this weekend but if you opened it yesterday im going home to open mine.

Mine is 200 miles away and I don't think I'll even SEE it until May 10th.

I should be undressing her this weekend. Cant wait for the Block Island run for 1st run andone else want to come?

We're almost there in NC. things are starting to bloom.
Supposed to get up to 70 today and 73 tomorrow.
I have to say, I'm loving this early daylight savings.

Still wrapped for a couple more weeks. Still waiting on getting one of my engines back anyway. Working inside the wrap on full hydraulic steering

Official start of Spring is next Thursday.....hopefully the weather cooperates for an early start this year.

I will be starting my season when I pick up my boat the 2nd weekend in April; boating season will start April 20th. Will post pics next month.:D

Maybe next weekend I'll pull the cover, put the drives and blowers back on!

I should be wet by the 19th of april!

Come on in the water is fine!
 

Last one in is a rotten egg.

Actually Mahopac Marine borrowed it today for a demo ride and I was away snowmobiling so I couldnt attend it's maden voyage for 08'. The pics aren't the best since it was sent by phone.

And it was a blast on the river this morning. A little chilly but it was us and 2 tug boats:D

Sitting here at the office at 6:30am and getting depressed looking at a pile of BS paperwork. Then I watched that video , and instantly I'm feeling better. Thanks

warm day for St Pattrick's day and rain afterwards the Ice is out of greenwood Lake NY by April 1st all the crap from the winter's barn fires should be washed up on shore I'll let all the bass fishermen find the floaters then mid april I'll splash the boat

60's tommorrow and most of the hudson public ramps are going in this weekend. If your boat isnt unwrapped yet.

still a little early for me me, if you go out keep your eyes pealed. i was on the mid hudson bridge today and saw telephone poles with wires still attached to them :eek:

I noticed some of the bushes and flowers are starting to come out of the ground and I have a little grass growing in the yard!!!

I noticed two new boat lifts in the neighborhood today...Spring is coming :cool-smiley-026:

It was 63 here yesterday and sunny! I looked up Killington VT yesterday afternoon and it was only 36... WTF....

Hey jim, Glad to see you tearing it up already .My motor is out being tweaked right now . So I wont be on the river for another 2-3 weeks.Are you runnin in the NYC run in june?

No I'm gona go up to the Adirondacks for a week end of June through July 4th & go to the Sacondaga Run on June 28th. A week after I get back I'm going to Block with a bunch of Sutphens, so I think thats about all I can afford in that short stretch. Its also about as much shackle loosening as I can expect my wife to give me if you know what I mean.

Speaking of Sutphens I have a friend bringing his 26 to the Sacanadaga run.

The only thing worth doing on the river this early in the season is striper fishing. It’s still to dam cold for my blood to go fast. I should have the Bayliner un wrapped to go fishing next week. Ill be looking for you guys.

I just got the motor in the scarab last week and still have to send the drive out to get re done. I wont be reedy for a about a month. Just about the time it gets warm out.

I'll see you all on the river soon.
