So, I have been hearing rumors about the the LGPBA upcoming poker run....Is it still happening?

Rumors ?? It will happen as long as the LGPC permits the event. Plans are being made as we speak. I will be hosting it privately, not thru my organization, the LGPBA

I am not sure what transpired, but will this be by private invitational only event ? :confused:

Glad to hear things are in motion to continue with the Run.

It gives me another opportunity to shoot that awesome lake of yours and the boats that are in it. (Hopefully anyway) I have to see how this season plays out. Ended last season too far in the red with travel & equipment expenses. :(

Hopefully better luck this year with the weather.

Tim, Its open to all. I am doing it on my own. Just not thru the LGPBA. The LGPBA never intended to be in the poker run organizing business. They(we) willl still be involved,but I will do it privately so there arent so many restrictictions on myself. I want to talk with you when you get a minute

Are you guys planning on doing a Sacandaga Poker Run this year? I missed last years but want to make this years.

I am not, nor is the LGPBA, involved with the Sacandaga run that is planned for this year. Chris Zubb(EvilTwin) is putting it on. Many of the participants from last year will be returning and it is being held in the same establishments. It should be a good time

Johnny, You proved yourself to me and the LGPBA that you are more than able to handle a boat responcibly, You lead 20 + boats w/o incident for 75 miles. If your dad sees fit for you to run your own boat, I absolutly have NO problem with it.

i just want to see the look on Pops face after the run is over. Smiling from ear to ear, proud of his son. You will understand more of what Im talking about years from now

I do like those krytonites! Problem is that they take forever to sell and I heard that Kirk is not making them anymore. We'll see, I'm still out there looking.
