People keep asking me the date so here it is. :drink: Mike Werdans annual island bash. All the usual suspects , reggae + other bands on the beach . Bring a good anchor or get there early for a spot on the beach.

So far the weather is calling for partly cloudy and 84 degrees both Saturday and Sunday!!!!!!

Never been, its probably too far to boat all the way in my 26 but maybe I can tow down and put in somewhere?

Lets hope it stays that way !!!! The band lineup looks good. One of the regulars of wind an sea will be there according to the owner. Hope he brings the rock crab claws again this time . New reggae band this year.

I need a new beach umbrella and was not too suprised that all the back to school stuff is out and the summer junk is gone from the stores but I saw halloween candy out in one store !!! Talk about pushing the holiday , it's f ing august !!!!

Atlantic Highlands is your best bet.. It's less than 5 minutes to the island..

A friend suggested amybe putting in 1/2 way I'll have to figure out where the best place would be.
Id like to have some water time. 5 minutes is maybe a little too close. LOL

liberty landing is doable. Then you get a look at the city. You can come through the verazano and its a short ride , or around staten island for a smooth ride. We do the reverse all the time. If anyone is coming from out of the area I'll be glad to guide you in though there will be enough boat traffic to easily find it .

hmmmmmmmm weather says mostly cloudy. hope they are wrong like yesterday! It was awesome at the beach. No wind , perfect temp.

82 and Sunny, clouds have cleared and I'm on my way to the marina!!!

It was a great day the weather couldn't have been better. I guess Jeff got to take the dog home with him.

Chuck specifically told me either credit on the fuel, credit on service or credit on storage... He even made a comment that after say 10 tankfulls and with the discount I would get one tank free. :eek:

Actually I was down there on a service call yesterday and Eddie was very surprised to hear about my pan rusting out. He told me to get him the sn # and even though 3 months out of warranty he'd fight to get something back on it. I thought that was pretty good of him to offer that up. Gotta like that service.

Great then next weekend I can collect a free fill up for labor day
