Default Has anyone launched from the Bronx?

I am planning to tour NYC and am looking for a place to launch. Evers Marina, which is near the Throgs Neck Bridge, looks pretty good from Google Earth, and they seemed very accommodating when I spoke to them on the phone. They were a little vague when I ask about parking. Between truck and trailer I am dragging 70' around so parking is a concern.

what about one of the marinas on city island? maps.live.com gives a 360 degree "bird's-eye" view, gives a better perspective than google....

I don't know anything about any of the marinas in the city. I picked Everly because it was on the way. If there is a better location in City Is. please let me know.
