yea, it depends where you are, off the neck it cools back down again. winggi and crains beach stay warm esp at low tide because the marsh fills up at high tide, its very shallow then when its flowing out its very warm. we saw 76* water last year end of august. all day in the water only time i got out was to grab a beer

i didnt pee in the pool tho. lol

if you guys want to drop in danvers, let me know, if you guys want to follow me into the river (its shallow and tricky in spots) id be happy to lead you in
