Hi Howard, yes it is quite a list. I thought I would be finished some of it by now but another eggine went a few weeks ago so I was delayed on the cosmetic stuff. Are you on the water yet with that Beast of yours? I seen it at the club. I don't get there much. The yard has been a mess and hard to manuever around the smaller boats who park anywhere they feel like it. I'm a little pissed, sorry. I have to get my hours in still, maybe next week?

Don't appologize to me, I agree 100 percent. You see where my boat is. The only place the yahoos aren't near it. I had the boat out last week and over the holiday. It runs strong. I have no numbers as far as speed because I have to replace my tachs. Sorry to hear about your motors. I could tell you my motor build went at least twice as long as I had hoped for due my schedule jumping around and the economy didn't help. But at least it's finished and ready to go for next year. If you would like, I could send you to my builder, pm me if you want. Good Luck!:drink:

distance

Its about 35 miles from the Walt Whitman Bridge to the mouth of the C@D Canal, and then another 11miles to the Chesapeake inn. Make the ride at least once a weekend.

35 mile from the Walt Bridge to the mouth of the canal, then another 11 miles to the Chesapeake Inn. Always looking for people to make the run, its like pulling teeth to get people to make that run.

Not to many people like to run down the Delaware river. It's full of $hit alot of the time.

Glad to see someone back on this thread. Looking forward to get back out on the water again. We went down to NE MD a few times last year but I tow the boat down and put it in at the Goose. It only takes an hour or so to get there and saves us a ton of fuel. Usually we stay over at the Holiday Inn at least one night. What we save in fuel pays for the fuel used down there and the room. Besides that Delaware trip is BORING! My boat should be done and ready for April. Getting ready to dyno the new engines next week and start the install of the extension boxes, Imco's and pushing the engines forward about a foot to balance it out some. It should fly this year? I hope!

Might not be such a boring ride for ya this year :drink::evilb:

I can't wait either. Let me know when you go under the Deleware Memorial Bridge.....I'm about two miles past on your left......

I still don't think we'll be taking the water down. Too much fuel and time for an hour drive on the road. Besides we stay overnight and would need some transport to the hotel etc. I will let you know when we're planning to go down. Mark(Mookeymonkey) is getting the Make a Wish trip set up for this coming season. That was pretty cool last year and for a good cause too. If your interested let me know or Mark so we can maybe all do it on the same weekend. Last year they met us at Northeast MD at the hotel and took them on a ride to Jelies for the day seeing the sights. It was a blast.

That's an understatement! I almost hit a submerged port-a-poti! If it weren't for the vent on top sticking out of water.
