You need to get facts on an M3 newer then 2003. The E90 is 414 hp and runs the 1/4 12.51 @114mph. Don't feel bad I have surprised many with car. Straight line is is only on eplace this car is impressive, but on the back roads it would not even be a fair race. Sorry those are the facts! Also this is my daily car. I was thinking of buying 2 Corvettes instead of the 1 M3 but did not have enough room in my garage. http://www.ask.com/bar?q=2009+bmw+m3...lip-14531.html . see the link for #'s

Just busting balls but it sure would be fun to run them down the road, maybe a nice doughnut shootouthttp://www.dragtimes.com/Chevrolet-Corvette-Timeslip-5954.html

Yup...must have been looking at older M's. Who knows?? Just busting anyways...I'm a big fan of the M series. Even though I have a Vette!! Love taking the ole traction control off and lighting em up. Maybe a donut shootout would be more fun...although expensive!!

I'll have to back this wager if one is made. 1/4 mile?? Top speed?? 0-100?? Track?? Whats the bet?? Oh by the way Jays car stock (which it may or may not be ) runs the quarter in 12.6. The M runs 13.5.

TOTALLY STOCK right Jason!!!!!

Then we can all stop by a local bar for a victory drink..........on Jay, cause Im afraid he is going to loose the race. Ive been a Chevy fan forever, but the BMW is pretty fast. Besides, Ive never seen Jay drive a car before. (I have seen him drive a boat, thats why Im leanin tward the BMW. Ha Ha Ha Jus Kidding Jay!) I would bet that Frank would put a small wager on this race, even if it is a prissy, ***!y, little BMW. Frank seems to think that Jay is going to do some "backpeddling" on this one. I hope not.
And yet AGAIN, I get thrown under da' bus my a certain KREED!

Here's the bet Kev.....if I lose to a BMW, I'll walk my a$$ home from Franks! lol!

It's pretty quick.......not supercharger quick, but pretty fast.......put it this way, I've only had one car "keep up" or knock me back....and he had NITROUS (no fair!).

It sounds like we have a race on our hands boys! If not one, then maybe two races!!! Remember the M3 has over 400 HP and it may be lighter? But, and this is huge, when your talking about 1/2 second or less on the street, that amount of time can be lost spinning you tires off the line. Jays Vette has alot more torque than the M3, so he has to be careful. Its all going to come down to driving. I think that Frank should race you first Jason, just to get you out of the way.(I hope I dont eat those words) Then go for the manly-car! I havent been this excited since Block Island! Actually, after the race(s) are over, I will buy drinks to celebrate whoever wins!!
