Fun Run South Shore
 

I'am working on having a FUN RUN- a summer fund raiser for the ROTARY CLUB of COHASSET,of which I am a member. Looking at a date in AUGUST on a SAT. ( still pending ) How does this date sound ? We'll have food - music - auction/prizes. Short course on the South Shore / Boston Harbor Islands. Michael "HIGH LIFE"

If nothing comes up or breaks on mine i'll go and try to bring 3or 4 more boat swith me.

im going to do another NOYZEE fun run as well. probably like last season. meet at Mysery, shoot to mad fish, maybe do an over nighter and go from mad fish, out and around cape ann, over to black cow, or michles harbor side for dinner and more drinks, then over to winggi or back beach for an over night.

fun, i had a ton of fun and will be back next year for sure!!!!!!!! next year however, im thinking lets just stay on the lake and do the fun thing all over again!!!

hey I see a problem with aug:grinser010: we have the aug pokerrun at fallriver every year, and this past year mike started the on golden pond one the same week:eek:, now your talking about one to thats 3 in one month plus fairhaven is sept, walter was going to start one in july I think so if you did one in july or june maybe walt can work with you cause right now theres no runs in may/june/ july well maine is end of july sabago. so we need runs in the early months to. and I will do a fallriver run 1st over anyother and so won't most of the guys. I hope mike and mike check with each other this yr so we have to runs to go to in aug. theres guys from NJ /DEL/NY coming to the fallriver run and the fairhaven one that I met while buying my new boat. ps so thats three mikes with the runs I mean doing three runs :evilb: art

My date is flexible, I will try to talk with Walter and run this out of Scituate. I have been to his restaurant by water this summer...looks good ! Would never run with conflicting dates will try to set up a schedual for this summer. Can anybody tell me dates of the other runs ? Hope the weather is dry early this year. Make sure it does not conflict with the Sabego Poker run up in Maine.

Sabego Poker Run is the third Saturday of July.

I have done it a few years. It is always fun.

we did sabago last year, it was great. we r going to do it this year as well. hope to stay at the same place with mike, scotty, john etc. great time we had!!!!!

me only once but this year just need mufflers I hope, so we need a run in june and may would be cool, aug would be fallriver run with mike lund, and mike with ongolden ponds the other run. sept fairhaven I would think maybe they can do on in may or june . onset bay marina was part of a small run for slow boats for a few yrs, I could check to see if its still run we could raid it blow threw it and sit at the marina waiting for the sea rays and eggharbors vikings ect to show up and party.

as of right now i have nothing going on. i will have my girl pencil it into her little book of dont forgets.
i know as long as nothing comes up i can get atleast 3-5 boats without question.

Fun Run
 

noyzee, get the whole crew to head to the SOUTH SHORE for the week-end !!! There is a great cove we can raft up in off of Hingham on the Wier River. "HIGH LIFE"

i'll do what i can. atleast 3 of the boats with us that day are all in the water for the season so not sure if they would make the trip or trailor.
i will get the word going for sure once spring starts rolling around.
def going to do another noyzee racing fun run. try to start early and go more places.

walter should be at gap on monday after 5 so I will try and get there I left a mess for him last week, so I will just show up to make sure he sees me haha.

I would be interested in going to this fun run. unfortunatly I already have plans for the june 26,2010 weekend if the date changes I would very interested in going.:evilb:

I THINK I MET A FEW OF YOU GUYS AT THIS YEARS BORDAN LIGHT RUN.I HAD MY 312 FORMULA FASTECH AND MY BUDDY RICH HAD HIS 382 WITH THE FLAME GRAPHICS.IT WAS A FIRST FOR BOTH OF US,AND HAD A GREAT TIME. I JUST GOT MY 382 THIS WEEK AND LOOKING TO FILL THIS SUMMERS CALENDER WITH SOME FUN BOAT STUFF. WE USUALLY GO TO THE BASSETTS ISLAND PARTY ON A SATURDAY IN LATE JULY. LAST YEAR HAD ABOUT 250 BOATS,A BARGE WITH TRASH AND OUTHOUSES,AND A BARGE FOR THE BAND. BE GREAT TO HAVE YOU GUYS.SHOW UP AND WE CAN PISS OFF THE SAIL SNOBS.:drink:

im getting all pumped up for boat season. i was accually poking around at some blower set ups for my boat instead of buying a new boat.
work sucks tho, so we shall see.

mike I talked to walt a little his place might be to small for the start. so what about plymouth start finish theres a club there at the docks, we could do a start there go to p town, cohasset, scituate, green harbor , plymouth. or skip ptown do duxbury harbor or marina bay. like marina bay start /stop go to cohasset,plymouth back to green harbor then scituate then marina bay. if you want I can get a rough idea for mileage call next month when gas docks open to show were 93 oc is at. this way smaller boats won't be a fraid to go to p town. so what do you think I will call walt again to plan a sit down since he has done a lot of these. maybe this week or next I will do what ever you need. I just hope me and gerry will have my boat to run. cause his is a pain on the road and it would cost about 3 grand in his boat to go from providence RI around threw the canal up do the run and go back:coolcowboy::eek:. so my boat would be cheaper to run if its done by june.

ok my plans for today died so I took out my old charts and a ruler since I can't find my plotting kit:grinser010:, ok start at plymouth go to p town 21 miles, next go to cohasset 31 miles next cohasset to scituate staying offshore by cans 8 miles. scituate to green harbor is 9 1/2 miles, green harbor to plymouth 8 miles = 104 miles if we cut out p town its about 52 miles and we could go to marina bay which would so round trip cohasset to marina bay would add 28 miles. = a 80mile run so what do you think high life mike???

if you guys are running to marina bay, i would probably meet you there rather then trailer. i can make it there in no time.

not sure I have not heard from Mike yet.

Just an idea, if your going P-town and Plymouth how about a raft-up at Sandy Neck in Sandwich, great beach and always a bunch of campers out there having a good time. Set a time limit and continue on. Just my two cents. Any way you do it , I'am very interested.:evilb:

its really to far out of the way and would add another 20 miles or more. I camped there and had friends come over from plymouth its about 20mins south, The more I think about ptown it might just be to much for in mileage. its up to mike , I was just looking up miles for the run to some of the spots but a day trip to the beach would be cool but right out side plymouth harbor theres BROWNS BANK a hugh sand bar maybe 15 ac, we play golf on it with 3 and 5 irons and NO HORSEFLYS :coolcowboy: and last year it was dry for 4 plus hours.

thats like plymouths browns bank put its a mile or more off plymouth beach where the 4x4s go and some boats but the bar is hugh boats can pull in on all 4 sides, and we can play golf without hitting a boat with a 3 or 5 iron we hit 100 to 150 yards it takes four strokes to get from one side to the other thats how big it is one yr guys broughr out a couple of dirt bikes 100s or 125s, horse shoes, plus I have a couple of 30ft kites I send up I am looking to buy a 50ft dragon kite. last year at high tide the water was only like 1 to 2 ft years ago iy was 6 to 8 it gets bigger and taller every year. I am going to shoot for a over night up with you guys either at the river or at my aunts place next to the studio bar inside the neck she has a dock. later art

yea, we need to get together for sure.
we have a blast. im guessing july 25th weekend at winggi is going to be INSAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its my 30th birthday, we will have a big fire, grills going, a bunch of friends are driving up. tents on the beach. we will be there friday after work till sunday!!!

We will be there.... and we r renting the house up on Sebago again this year!!!!!! You know us we r allways in for a party.... We r sure gonna try to go up to Wingi with all u guys this summer to.
