Fall River/Borden Light Poker Run
 

Hey guys instead running the old thread lets get the post and hype on this one. And lets get a list of boats going and keep it updated. from what i hear that want to be 50+ this year.

I went once,early last year. we usually go out of Wareham and hang out at Bassits Island,warmer water,more boats. I may go out Easter weekend just for a quick blast. weather permitting. Anyone,Anyone,Bueller??

I hung out at bassets island from 94 to 01 when I had the boat at onset marine on the rack. plymouth is colder water but nicer to hang on and theres no no wake zones so if you need to test a prop you go between the sand bar and beach and open it up if theres a lot of traffic out in the main channel or if you want so air wait for cpt jon boats to go by. one day we were eye level with the people on the second deck:eek: of the Andy lynn fishing boat it has the biggest wake:evilb:.

Why doesnt any of the CT. River guys ever make it to the Fall River run. I mean its no more then 2 hour ride and thats on the high side.

It's around $150/$200 per boat.

I think last years first place prize was around $2000.00

SLIPS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE ENTRY FEE,FROM THURS. THRU SUNDAY. I CAME UP FROM WAREHAM FRIDAY AFTERNOON,DID THE RUN SAT,RIPPED IT UP SAT. NIGHT AT THE FLOATING BAR (TYPSEE SEGUL),GOT A CAB RIDE TO A HOTEL 5 MINS. AWAY,HAD BREAKFAST FUELED UP AND WENT BACK SUNDAY MIDDAY. AWESOME WEEKEND.I JUST WISH MORE PEOPLE WENT FRIDAY NIGHT SO WE COULD HAVE A LITTLE PRE-PARTY. THE RUN STARTED A LITTLE LATE,SO PLENTY OF TIME TO GET YOUR SELF SITUATED .:evilb:

I stayed at a Comfort Inn 5 mins away. I don't know if anyone else stayed. It was my first time too. Most everyone showed up sat mourning. There is a ramp at Bordan Light and a lot to put your trailer in. All included in the entry fee. Mike Lund, the owner is an awesome guy,and very accommodating,and pretty funny to party with after. Come down Friday,at least there will be two of us hungover Saturday.:drink:
