has anyone else had trouble emailing my account?


We have a good list of guys to get things started. I am just trying to get some of our tax info sorted out right now.
Then we will accept some members and Dues. which we have decided will be only $25.00 per year for the time bieng.

Anyone wishing to join please email me because our membership mailing list will come from that list of emails.

Those members will be the first class of members and will have full voting privilidges from the begining. Successive classes will have a probationary period before being allowed to vote on club matters and possibly other club privledges.

Most other clubs and associations I have been involved in have used this system. Its not to be a bunch of snobs.LOL
There are important reasons for the club to have a probationary period for applicants seeking membership.

You should probably post a list of the people you did receive information from. I know I sent you mine but am not 100% sure you received it. Just so you can make sure you have everything you need ya know?

I was in NEWPORT for a few days.

That would be fine if this were the only website we are using to comunicate with members but we are on several other sites too.

we will have a news letter for club info that will be emailed to members
eventually we will have web site as well.

We dont want to use up all OSOs band width.

We certainly appreciate OSO helping us get started here though with this thread.

Privacy is very important in many instances.

Also mailing lists are bought and sold all day long. We wouldnt want some company selling our mailing list would we?

If someone wants to contact our members they will need to make a deal with the club to give our members special discounts.

If the mailing list were exposed we would have no leverage to gain anything for our members now or in the future.

I would think a simple first name last initial. would be good enough. Steve D. Jeff I also sent you an email if you want we can put a list there instead of all the forums you using.

I think you may need to be the membership secretary.
