Nothing in stone but the 17th has been kicked around a bit. someone today told me the 18th was a sunday though and I know its gotta be on a sunday so who knows.

No entry fee. Everyone runs up to a beach in Rocky Hill where pizza is delivered. You "donate" money for the pizza and the extra goes to a children's cause.

oh nice...im in. i wish it were sooner in the year. it seems to be getting cold out. i am surprised this event draws the amount of boats that it does.

Best event of the year in my opinion.

2 years ago it was in the 30's when we launched. Holy crap that was cold. Luckily it warms up in the late morning/afternoon.

Once we know the date, us bigger boats will have to pick a time and place(likely Old Saybrook) to launch and run up together.
