Rich Owen Puts this NON EVENT on.LOL
Thats what he calls it.
He is a CPBA member so we will know when the get together gets scheduled. Historically its always been a last minute thing becuase they watch the weather etc and try to make sure its a good day for enveryone to be out there.
It usually is around OCT 20 if memoery srves me right so figure a weekend in that range. Thats unfortunatly the best I can tell you right now.
Its a NON event in this way that its not a scheduled event. Its really just a bunch of guys who decide to get together on the river. No permits etc needed for that or anything. Who ever wants to show up Does. Its very informal and thats what makes it so special.

Sunday Oct 17th is my guess at the date.
I don't think I want to beach the AT for many reasons, so I will probably just anchor 100 feet off the beach. We should get a good crew together to launch in Old Saybrook and run up together.

Ive been to this NON-event for the last 7 or 8 years. Its alot of fun and well worth not winterizing your boat for! Usually about 50 or more boats. Lots of fast boats. Pizza for lunch on the beach! Good times...Ill be there.

Mike, youll be in what boat? The 24 carrera SS7M
Whats OS? Old Saybrook is where I drop In
Trying to follow Tsunami?2 years ago I had just put the motor in my Velocity had no hours on it had to break it in. I talked to dan prior and asked to follow him since I had never been there before.
Tsunami cant be that fast in flat water. Its a rough water boat! He may not even have the Sutphen...maybe the cat. THEN you can follow
