Default offshore races atlantic city

is anyone going down on the 19th to ac for the offshore races? trying to find out where exactly they are racing, in the ocean or back in the bay, one place said you can watch from the trump marina, i know they are keeping the boats there but didn't think they were racing in the bay. im putting in at mystic islands and running the ocean down to ac and gonna hopefully anchor somewhere where we can see the races

You are correct they are out in the ocean. And and I would not think you will find a place to tie up Trumps.I think the start/finish line is by hilton probably the best place to see this is going to be the beach.

Talked to some racers yesterday. They said it was one hell of a ride out there during testing. All said would be better off watching from the beach. Calling for 6-9 foot swells. One racer told us he was running out there with the bright yellow Geico machine and it was going outta sight between the swells. Save the gas in the boat and drive the car.

I hope theres going to be some good video.

a little video from the beach perspective would be cool to see the boats going in and out of view.

Sometimes from the air only, kills the perspective.

no races. dam weather, went out the inlet and the waves were probably 10 to 14 ft. only got to see a couple of boats, just wish they would have called them off in the morning.
