One of the guys who is joining our club was interested in the sutphen SSX, The deal was going through and Ron and him met, they agreed on a price had Mike Palumbo look at both engines and pull the hurs off, and then started to unhook the boats to swap them on the trucks.

All of a sudden Ron gets a call from someone named SCOT(T) and hooks his boat back up and drives away.

So after a few days of back and forth and Mike deciding he was going to get his lawyer involved they ended up hashing out and agreement again and Mike Now owns his first sutphen.

I applaud Ron for doing the right thing in the end and selling the boat to Mike even though It was for a higher price then originally negotiated.

I am glad mike Didnt give in and walk away either cause he clearly had a deal already made.

Mike is a great guy and is planning on joining the CPBA as soon as he can get in front of his computer again.

Mike has a really clean donzi 06 18FT for sale if anyone is looking for that type of boat.
Nope, not me... although I did just read the story and I'm glad to hear it all worked out for the best! It's such a cool little boat!

Congrats Mike!!!

I've been busy with work and the imaginary GF. I'm also also getting really sick of looking at boats and dealing with some of the nutty sellers out there. I'm going to sell my cat soon and probably just buy a 6' diggy so I can raft with you guys for the summer.
