When you come up in February make sure you grab a drink at the Pelham on a Sunday afternoon, very laid back with good live music. Tell choppy (the drummer) you are a friend of Freddy 50

just a heads up...RI and most of Naragansette Bay is Outerlimits Territory. hahaha

you are in good hands with fountain40icbm, animalhouse, and sick stinger. stick to what they say.

agreeed...the ride from newport to bristol is 10 minutes. obviously depends on what boat your in. but even in our fastech 292 we did it in 15 minutes cruising at 60. which is another reason why the bay is awesome. takes just minutes to go from one hot spot to another.

I will break this down for you nice and simple:
Newport:
Red Parret good food
Brick Alley Pub Good food/ best hot wings need waiver
I know the Hostest if you need any help there.
Fudge Factory- Pretty obvious
Rhino Bar- Good night life
Pelham- Live Music great bar
Star Bar. Upstarts overlooking newport harbor and the strip

Also there are a few on the back side wall of the strip, 3 or 4. Can miss it being on the side of the Gap and Mariot.

At the dock is Thames Pub, AKA Goffs
Across the street is JR (Joy Roy) Beans
Next block is Aidens (also in newportbut not walking from the dock)
