I agree, that did appear to be a good buy. I'm not sure I ever noticed it until last week.

I just wonder though...new headers? Did the others leak? If you don't catch that quick, you can have bigger problems on your hands....

Okay I am in VT snowmobiling and check in intermintently but it is time for an intervention with Jay Fan. Corvettes are for fat old bald guys Jay. It's a car that will get driven 3000 miles a year what will you do with it bring it to car shows? You can't tell me driving that thing to Bills seafood is a tenth as much fun as pulling into Claudios with 7 or 8 of us in some nice hardwear. Not to mention the Corvette club drive ins are filled with 65 year old saggy women. Have you ever been to block island? Okay some of your friends will hopefully jump in here and be supportive. I am getting rid of the M3 this spring I feel like a kid running around in fast car. Besides just keep the vette you have now and buy a new boat. How old are you anyways?:drink:

I have to say I use my convertible firebird more than anything else I own, Twist the key and Im gone, no towing, no packing things up, No outrageous fuel bills.

Gotta make up your mind on buying ONE toy! You will go crazy if you keep going back and forth. Boat, car, boat, car,boat....... Make a descision on which one you want more, and make it happen. Whichever one you choose to buy, you will still have the other toy that you already own. So you will not go without! ....Me personally, I say trade the Formula AND the Vette in on a 38 to 42 wave crusher!!!!................But thats just me :)

LOL, oh come on Jay, let us tell you what you want and how much we are going to spend of your money! We promise we'll let you make the payments either way! :drink:

Personally, I like having more than one hobby to keep me from getting bored. Tomorrow I'm going to the bike show, and I was tinkering the in the garage today with the cars and bike. The down side is this means I cant have the 46 Skater I'd love to have. Oh well, I'd rather have the diversity and choices to keep things interesting...

At the end of the day, do what YOU want to do. Like I said, I promise we'll let you pay for whatever it is you decide to buy. :evilb:

WELL SAID! You and I think alike..... I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket (or hobby). A little of this......a little of that. I get bored easily......so I like to have a few things to work on (polish!). :evilb:

No one is throwing money my way so far......so looks like I'm keeping my boat for now! And with gas going to be at $4.50 this summer, I'm not sure that's a bad thing!

kreed 02-26-2011 07:25 AM

Hey guys, in our defense, we were only going on what Jay brought to the table. He told everyone he wants a bigger boat. Acually mentioned a few different boats he was inquiring about, and then started a thread about the Glad. It even went as far as " they wont let the trailer go with the boat" or something like that. He was the one who brought the boat up and made it seem like a deal was brewing, so it seemed like it was something he could afford. It had nothing to do with us trying to spend his money. We were just "supporting" him in his boat buying process....:angry-smiley-038:

SS930 02-26-2011 08:14 AM

Kev,
No need for any "defense", Jay and I are just having a little fun. We both appreciate all the help and enthusiasm!

innerrage 02-26-2011 09:33 AM

How about a Pantera ,Hopefully next year I will own a 24ft pantera

30ctsutphen 02-27-2011 10:52 AM

Brian you shoulda bought that SUTPHEN in maine. Its sold now. The extra 2 feet would have been nice from the pantera

stand up boat with higher free board I think too. that makes a big difference in the sound IMO. I hate sit down boats.

I have to agree with you on that one. Apache's are really the offshore 80s personification.
