actually prices are cheaper in the spring!
People hold the price up all winter thinking they will get there price in the spring and then when it doesnt sell they decide to drop the price, happens with real estate too.

^^^^^ I like your thinkin here Jeff! The all white 35 Sutphen is a good example of this. Was advertised ALL winter for 79K. Now, it went up to 89K.....Although this sounds like a "reasonable" idea, everyone knows it can be had for <79K. I dont think if the boat was advertised for 6 months at 79K, someone is gonna pay 89k. With that being said, IM NOT GIVING UP ON SCOTS NEW BOAT :)

Spring hasnt gone by yet give them a fw more weeks, let them see theres no action in the spring and they will panic and sell cheap!

I know of another boat sold 2004 Top Gun in LI I was going to look at it if the Tiger did not work out. This boat is going to be local to just can't say who bought it. Scot they are going quick, good luck out there you will find it! But when you do get your checkbook out!

No doubt about, spring is the time to move boats. Fall and early winter is the time to buy boats. Typically a big price difference! But I dont see the market really coming back anytime soon.

We've looked at both the Cigs and AT's and while we agree we both like the Cigs better on the outside, the fact that the AT's have a real (useable) cabin keeps pushing us that direction. So I've decided since you guys are so concerned about me buying another boat for this spring, if you guys want to pay for the $9k difference the seller of the AT and I are appart, I'll go ahead and buy it to make you happy. Otherwise, I might just buy a Sutphen! :eek:
