wait jay is looking at a gladiator? where was I? Any other info about the potential purchase?

Kreed, yea I meant 572's...I was typing fast and hit too many numbers...I would be extra careful near the mouth but you already know this!!!! We took our silent thunder muffler off so we should be louder this year too and have more power...But we have the captains call option, so we can be quiet if needed. I will be crossing my fingers for ya!!!!

I've only had the DEP "talk" to me a couple times at the launch about the noise. No tickets or anything. That's ANOTHER plus to having small blocks huh Justin!!!!! Let the "Big Blocks" get the tickets!

Justin....I did the same thing when I bought mine.

Jeff likes the sound of sewing machines, anything more and his ears hurt. He told me he's thinking of trading his truck in for a 4 cylinder as the noise is too much for him these days.

I love the looks of the Gladiator (reminds me of a Vette on water), but I really really don't like that it doesn't have any sort of a cabin. Where the hell do you put all your f'n gear????
You can buy a new aluminum trailer for that boat for under $10k if that's all that's holding things up. It's a sweet boat, nicest lines Cig's ever produced IMO.

Dont worry about the storage, there's room in the front for your purse.

Just bolt on some turbos and run them at 3 or 4 psi, gain 100 hp and noise problem solved. Meth and water will take care of the compression problem.

Scot I agree on the river thing in my opinion it is great for water sports skiing etc. I love when I see all these big cruisers going up river. The channel is narrow most of the people boating on it have no clue what they are doing and then you have the current to fight with and waste mad money on fuel. Not to mention other then the occasional hang out to me it is boring. For me if we where not this close to the sound or a big lake I would not be able to justify the coin. Jay trailers are a dime a dozen press them on the price or get them on the hunt for you. Both you and Scot hopefully know we want you guys out there this summer that is why we leaning on you. By the way Jay if you buy the Glad you will be the fastest until Scot comes home with his new kitty

You forgot to mention the floating logs (of both types) in the river. Every trip I pray I dont hit anything in the boat, or find one while swimming.

Kev, if you want to hang in Middletown, get a little bayliner to hang on after work and get Studio 54 down to OS!

Frank, nobody cares about speed anymore.... anything over 80 is just too dangerous now-a-days and fuel prices are going through the roof. Air conditioning is where its at. Cruising is now cool and Jay should reconsider the 90+ MPH Cig!!!

Air conditioning, cruising? Did Nellie log in under your user name or did you just eat the worlds largest bowl of sour grapes for breakfast???

A lot of "IF" statements in there. It looks like the last deal has pretty much gone down the toilet (unless the seller's meds kick in soon), although I have another very promising lead... but I'm far from counting any kittens yet! Still working on operation kitty litter, but you might still see me in a vee yet this summer. Regardless, dont count on me being the fastest, remember boy wonder will have Ken's OL out there on a regular basis!

Now back to those air conditioned sour grapes...
