For me its a simple solution...If any of these bills pass, my boat will become a RI registered boat. The perks of having a house in RI. Adios CT.

+1

Then again, I'm working hard on not owning a boat at all this season so this might not effect me. :D

In all honesty, I completely expect something similar to pass at some point in the not to distant future. They always find a way to collect (and then waste) more of our money...

Id also like to add that there are some really crappy Gun control laws in effect also. most notably the ban on hi cap mags.

Needless to say I WILL be at the capitol personally this week.

I am going to be there to present on this topic on behalf of the CPBA and all connecticut boaters.

Does anyone have any points they would like me to include on there behalf?

You can PM me or post it here in this forum and I will try and include it.

I have no real news I went up there and When I pulled into the parking garage they had a board across said 7'2" so I went in they told me to park on the roof Well I get up and theres another board that says hieght 6'8" well I cant make that at all.LOL

So I have to move all the cars behind me back out get outside and then fight for a parking spot two blocks away.

By then registration was gone and Though I thought I found the correct room 2E finance comitee No one knew anything about 1007 and the taxes so I went back to work.

I emailed Grant a few times, because you were suposed to be able to email it in also, but he never emailed me back with the adress. SO I wasted 2 hours writing my testimony for NOTHING.

Next time I know to drive the convertible.LOL
