I just watched the DVD sent to me by Billy Frenz and It was a great DVD, good production values and a great story, not just for CIG Owners either!
If anyone in the CPBA wants to see it let me know I can hook you up with it to watch, or Billy can send you one out of your own.
Id like to say congrats to Joe Defusco as well for making it to the finish line and taking that title ! Thats a tough stretch of water and it can beat up the best boats and crew.
Contact myself via PM or you can email billy:

Thanks for bringing a great race to our area!

Thanks Jeff, I am looking forward to defending my title this year.
I was reading up on some of the history of this race, it seems back in '59 when the race was held for the first time an unknown local guy won it.....fast forward 51 years and it happened again!
Hopefully we will see more people give it a shot....as one former drag racer to another think of it like a 6 hr(instead of a 9 sec.) pass!

Id like to run it but not enough to beat the hell out of my boat, LOL
Love the one part on the video when there talking to one guy from that CAT and hes like we were running 75 to 85 thru there and you look at the GPS on the map and its 63! Then hes like we cooled it down to 100 MPH and the GPS is showing 75 or 80 MPH I am sure it felt like the higher numbers as we all know when we look at a GPS it always SEEMS 10 to 20 MPH slow.
Your like, I gotta be going faster than that!!!!
