Claudio's was actually a lot less busy than I anticipated. No where near capacity. Sorry to hear that some members boats weren't co-operating. Hope everyone made the best of it.
Yeah it was a good 1st day of the season. I think the fog and/or $hitty weather for the last few weeks has kept people behind a little. We stopped at Old Lyme/Pavillion on the way home because some friends had a house there. Pavillion was not as busy as usual either. Parked next to the infamous Sutphen but didn't see its owner.

Heard about some trouble w/kevin and Scot....what happened?

No doubt about that! Although after getting back and taking some things apart Mike and I found a chunk of o-ring missing on the one of the water pumps. This o-ring seals the inlet port on the water pump, so it must have been sucking in some air. When the new impellers were installed, we must have pinched it. Hopefully a new o-ring will solve the issues! Other than that the engines ran pretty good (for what they are)!

I have a friend coming up for next weekend, so I doubt I'll be able to get out... we'll see.

Yeah, Frank, Kevin, and I all had some issues this weekend. We'll get everthing straightened out soon enough. I think Frank just has some cleaning to do at this point. I suspect Kevin just needs a new MSD box, and hopefully a new o-ring will solve my problems. All simple stuff, but enough to piss on a parade... Sorry we missed you guys.

Well Most everyone had a pretty good time, Kev and Nellie met us over at Pavillion by car, Rob and Kelly brought the skater over.

Wasnt nearly the day we all had planned, but worked out OK. of course I got there early and ended up playing chase boat all day.LOL (I think being early jinksed it!)

Problem with fog and GPS is it will tell you where land is and where water is but it wont tell you where other boats are and that can be very dangerous in the fog!

At last count we had 3 boats DOA, and I hit a log in the river running up to get Kev at hays, NO damage at all thankfully but it was an eye opener to say the least, lucky I had my bracket up high from going through a shallow chanel a little earlier.

The important thing is everyone made it home without getting hurt and the boats can all be repaired for another weekend.
