It's going to be really close as to whether I have my boat registered or not.... but hopefully Christine's little friend Mikey might be able to help out in this regard if not. Regardless, I'm ready to get it out on the water at this point!!! I just hope the weather warms up and the sun comes out for Sunday & Monday!

Anyway, we are planing on splashing the boat for Sunday and Monday if the weather is nice. I dont really care what we do... I'm just looking forward to getting out! I will say I'm still a little concerned about the amount of crap in the river though, so if we do a raft, I'm thinking it might be at the Thimble's rather than Hamburg Cove.

BTW, I finally spent some time getting the boat cleaned up yesterday, what a Fing mess! I got side-tracked trying to get the engine hatch opened (turns out the pump ground came loose during the transport home), but I still cant get over how messy the engine compartment was on that boat. There's no chance the previous owner ever cleaned in there. Looks like he paid for all the work and maintenance to get done, but never once paid anyone to clean the thing up! I spent hours in there cleaning, and there's still a big mess in there! I probably need another 12 hours of cleaning in there. Urrrrggggggggg!

I did pick up the polycarbonate to make a new windshield, but that probably wont get done before the holiday. I still need to do a lot of little repairs in the cabin, but nothing that cant wait.

Good to hear some progress Scot. Im sure Mike will bring registration for the weekend in exchange for a ride with your G/F on the Love Boat. Sunday and Monday for me too. Sunday to Claudios, and rest on Monday(raft up).....weather permitting..........Did you take any engine pics? Looks like Frank will be going out for the first time on a holiday weekend too! Everybody got their painters on speed dial???

Haha! Mike's invited either way... Christine would be really excited to go for a ride with her cute little pal!

No, I never thought of taking any engine pics. I should have taken a before shot though... what a mess! I think there's enough oil floating around in there to recycle it for the next oil change! It's still far from show worthy, but at least there less than four quarts floating around at this point!

No joke on the painter comment... I'm thinking of anchoring outside of Claudio's and swimming in!

Dan, is the white bullet going to make it to CT for the holiday???

Adam, I know you only read the posts in this section and dont post here anymore, but any chance your boat is about finished and will be in the water for the holiday? Send some smoke signals and let us know...

Pat, engines are going in this week, correct? Are you going to be ready???

Kevin, any chance a certain 37 AT will be out???

I haven't even looked at my boat. Not a lot of "interest" in it right now.....sorry to say. Got a lot of other "irons" in the fire at the moment......

It might be the 4th before I splash.......or Labor Day!
