Block Island Run 8/27 - 8/28!!!
Okay, since the summer is rapidly winding down and club doesn't seem to ever organize anything, I thought I'd throw this out there with plenty of advance notice...
Weather permitting, we are running over to BI Saturday morning 8/27. We'll stay the night and then head back Sunday afternoon. It would be nice to get several boats together to run and raft with. Planning on hitting Ballards, etc. This probably would not be a trip for the kids! Rain date will be the following weekend. Who's in? :drink: |
ehhh im out scot. sorry buddy, i have a jamaica trip planned for that weekend.
|
Sorry to hear that (but I understand!), see if Nate would be interested, we'd love to have him come!
|
I was tossing around the idea of hitting the races in Patchogue, LI that weekend.... but this sounds more fun!!
|
Scot come me in. But i hope its not the same weekend you commited to Wicked Showing in Hartford, Marissa will be pi$$ed. Ill check the date.

-Mike BTW, get Gerry and crew in for this as well, good times! :D |
Ill see G tonigh and run it by him but pretty sure he will be surfing thru and see it.

Im not in the club but that is my birthday weekend, might plan around a little B.I. trip
|
Sounds good guys... I think Pat is in as well.
I'm also considering heading to Montauk and staying at the MYC the following weekend (9/3), so keep that in mind as well. Really nice place and a couple of great spots over there. I'm told it's crazy for the holiday weekend so I might look at doing this and making reservation(s). LMK if you guys are interested and if so I'll start another thread.... Summer is slowly winding down, and I'm not going out without a bang... unless my boat goes 'bang' first, haha! |
I'm in

After meeting so many great people from the RI/MA area at the Fall River Poker Run, I thought I'd bring this back to the top to see if those folks would like to join us for this GTG at BI. Our group will be running from the Old Saybrook area of CT, but that's not to say others couldn't run together from RI/MA are. Hopefully you guys can join us as it's sure to be a good time!
Assuming there's room, we'll all hopefully be rafting together inside Old Harbor and hangin at Ballards for part of the time. If there's not room in Old Harbor, we'll be bringing the party to New Harbor... :drink: |

Hey Jeff I could run 30 mph but I can tell you this, When you and I pull into a Marina they only reason to look past my boat is the fact the screwed down clear Kite on your deck would have them in aww. But i guess in your twisted world you would see that as a complement.
