Default NJ/NY Engine Builder

Two questions
1. Looking for a reputable builder in Tri State Area (NJ preferred). My 28 Checkmate w/ 454mag (520 hrs) needs a new motor! Looking for a N/A big block with approx 550 - 600hp.

2.Should I start fresh with a new block or use what I have?

+ 1 on Bandit. Danny and Drew have been very helpful to me over the past several years. They put together the 700's I'm running now. Came in exactly as we planned, price, time and HP all on the mark. No issues since. Highly recommend.

1. Any recommendations to install all new gauges and wiring of dash?
2. Interior work - carpet, leather skins, etc?

Bandit is a full service shop and can handle all of your needs. How deep are your pockets?

I dont want to put more than 17k into the boat. Its very clean as its been a rack stored fresh water lake boat most of its life. I was considering moving up to 33-35 range with 525's sincw there are so many good deals on used boats BUT my boat is paid for and i'll keep my cash under the mattress.
