Lumber Run 2011

Well, here we are again. It looks like we may have the exact same weather/water height conditions as last year for the River Run. If thats the case, there may be no beach AGAIN for all the boats to pull up on!
Im watching the Scream and Fly site closely to see if they decide to postpone the run or not.....
BUT! If it DOES get postponed, we could always have the second annual LUMBER RUN! Weather on Sunday is partly sunny and highs around 65 degrees! I am by no means turncoating on the River Run, but I wanted to get a back up plan in place. The weather looks good and The Canoe Club/Harbor Park can be EASILY taken over again! Maybe a Old Saybrook/ Hayes Haven launch and run to Middletown. Whos in either way?
