Default red alert CT river run/ lumber run

The Middletown regatta is on Sunday and it's going to cut off the river around Middletown. I'm not sure of the river schedules, but chances are we are not going to get to Rocky Hill unless you launch from there.

saw the course today the Ct river run guys checked for a month for conflicting events on the river nothing, called coast gaurd Dep etc. nothing

now we have this sh it to contend with???

something needs to be done our river is being taken over, l these guys should use the river north of hartford where theres no damn boats, isnt that what , riverside park in hartford is for, crew boats?

why do I get the feeling the canoe club may have something to do with this event

WTF??? are you kidding me?

can they really stop all boat traffic at m-town?
after last year's shifty service at harbor park, maybe S&F should move the whole affair...candlewood's quiet this time of year...

Highly unlikely anyone will get thru, unless arrangements are made with CG. Maybe if the CG is asked for an escort (both ways) at a certain time they will work with S&F & CPBA.
They will not allow our transit to interfere with the schedule of events.
I've been turned around there before.
Marine patrol and CG don't give a crap about big n little go fasts, the lumber run/s&f run are "unofficial" events; whereas the Regatta is "official"
We've got a problem here!
