XR had straight cut gears, XZ had helical I believe, either or, the XZ was a mightier Bravo One like a (Performance Drive)...the XR was when the internals were changed...they discontinued the XZ quickly..

Scot you will be first to see what they are for HP! If you look on my FB page the intake that holds the thermostat is rotten so the speed shop has done something and is milling what they put in place away! My boat has XR drives i have a receipts from the gears i bought both times i have blown them already! I RUN MY BOAT F^^KING HARD! So what if it breaks ill fix it! as i say LIFE IS GOOD!:ev ilb:

Are they True XRs? Or did you just redo the gears, because if that's the case...and you blew em up with your existing setup....
