Yea, and pay attention, his boat is a 1999, they didn't have the XR till 2001/02.....so it may have been standard in later years, but he does not have those drives...

XR had straight cut gears, XZ had helical I believe, either or, the XZ was a mightier Bravo One like a (Performance Drive)...the XR was when the internals were changed...they discontinued the XZ quickly..

Either or Justin, he needs to beef up his drives...that's the point...

If you look on my FB page the intake that holds the thermostat is rotten so the speed shop has done something and is milling what they put in place away! Are they True XRs? Or did you just redo the gears, because if that's the case...and you blew em up with your existing setup....
