The man building my motors says it will handle 6 grand all day? Maybe i don't understand what all the **** he is doing all i know is OUCH i should have bought OUT BOARDS!

Why stop at 6k????? Talk to jesel and crank them to 7k, it'll sound like key west when you make a pass at the pavillion

The valves might, but since you said they are using hydraulic lifters, I'm guessing those wont be too happy about spinning that high!

Fran, Kev tells me he's spinning his 382 to 7050 rpm this season! You're going to have to do a little more...

You're not going to make power at that rpm....don't spin it past 6k...it's not a drag motor, nor is it a race motor, it's a high performance, you want it to give you 0 issues and run for awhile...

Kev's propping his high....he's going to top out at 4800...then spray for the last 1000 rpm, should give enough positive lift and 1.21 Gigawatts of kinetic energy to keep the flux capacitor from the rip in the space time continuum that he even gains another 3mph due to gravitational pull....haha
