The man building my motors says it will handle 6 grand all day? Maybe i don't understand what all the **** he is doing all i know is OUCH i should have bought OUT BOARDS!:evilb:

Why stop at 6k????? Talk to jesel and crank them to 7k, it'll sound like key west when you make a pass at the pavillion :eek:

The valves might, but since you said they are using hydraulic lifters, I'm guessing those wont be too happy about spinning that high!

Fran, Kev tells me he's spinning his 382 to 7050 rpm this season! You're going to have to do a little more... :eek:

You're not going to make power at that rpm....don't spin it past 6k...it's not a drag motor, nor is it a race motor, it's a high performance, you want it to give you 0 issues and run for awhile...

Kev's propping his high....he's going to top out at 4800...then spray for the last 1000 rpm, should give enough positive lift and 1.21 Gigawatts of kinetic energy to keep the flux capacitor from the rip in the space time continuum that he even gains another 3mph due to gravitational pull....haha

if he hits 88mph he will travel back in time to 1992 and have a chance to see bob mccoy hanging at claudios with his brand new sutphen

Holy sh|t Pat! Haha, that's beautiful. Fran it doesn't really matter who's faster, cause we own the best boats made!... BTW, I just ordered my 26:71 blowers Whipple.( new size, just came out) They said my boat would run 144 spinning 11k!!!! with these.... But I'm not out to go fast, just want reliability!

So i also bored it out to a 540 and my msd have rev limit at 6 grand BUT im putting in a chip for a 5800 rpm motor.motor will last another 500 hrs with little work! :evilb:

Now that you're getting the broken stringer(s) fixed and have new monster power for 2012, you're going to have a like new boat... but what about the drives? Are they XR's or plain Jane B1's, how many hours are on them since a refresh?

I will show what the dyno says it has for HP what props are you running i have 30 made into 32 at this point maybe 34???:evilb:
