Sup My Brothas!

Im still around just taking these super slow winter months to take care of some much needed Items in life.

Been crazy busy and By the time I get all my real estate stuff, regular work, and the house Items done I am wiped out.

Days go by like minutes and weeks go by like Hrs it seems.

I have been in touch with a bunch of the boys, in fact I talk to Mike Telow almost every other day, Jimmy Lagassi( crash box) every week or so.

I kinda told Kev to do what was needed and the bank account was there if he needed it for the party etc.

I told Scott I needed help with the news letter and other Items but never heard anything from anyone willing to take on the tasks. Those are very important Items for people who dont get on OSO.

I havent heard from too many others though most have my cell number and everyone knows they can call me at any time. I did hear from Mike SS last week and Pat sends me sick texts weekly LOL
Thanks Pat

Have no fear I didnt drop off the face of the earth completely, Just figured everyone was off riding sleds and doing winter stuff, and I needed to really get some stuff taken care of before the boating season kicks back in.

If anyone ever needs me and wonders whats up, Please feel free to email me [email protected]

check my email 4 opr 5 tiomes a day at least.

Probably have at least another month of craziness ahead and I would really appreciate any help I can get to get the club back on track, Need volunteers badly to keep things going so Step up and help out if you can.

If figured you guys would enjoy the break from my winning online personality.LOL

I have limited time with jeff, but he seems pretty reasonable.....if he's really pressed for time he may think this is a good idea !!!! Before $hit gets uncivil

everyone should do one thing!

Ask themselves how much effort they have put into promoting this club, and making sure the day to day Items that need to get done, got done.

Then they should call me and volunteer some time before throwing stones.

let he without sin cast the first stone, ever heard that one?

who answered the call to hand out flyers at the boat launch for 2 hrs per season? not one person

Who answered the call to help with the news letter? not one person.

Last year around October the Chester Airport had a land and air show at the airport. The Whelen factory owns the airport and it's located right on the property. They had a car show there, tractor pull out back and a couple of wooden boats on display. Really large parking area. I can ask if they would consider a land, sea and air show with performance boats displayed. We could set up a booth like at the swap meet to sell items and sign people up to join the club. Any interest? I plan on putting the Cessna Caravan on display like last year along with a couple of boats.

Mike, we could have a boat show with just YOUR fleet! Haha, sounds like a great idea!

Jeff, I'll take on the news letter, please send this out to all members...

2011-2012 News Letter:
Our club president made it out on the water two or three times all summer. CPBA did have a successful swap meet last fall (hosted and mostly organized by Ocean Performance), OP was even nice enough to 'spray' the club president right out the door at one point, cheers were given by all! The CPBA had a great Christmas party, although the president couldn't be bothered to come. In fact, the CPBA president couldn't be bothered with anything all winter either, but he did log onto OSO once.

Our M@sshole friends to the east are in the process of putting together a race team for 2012. Combat Racing will be holding a party/fund raiser on 3/3/12. All proceeds will go towards their racing endeavors. We wish them well and hope they can manage to not only get a running boat together, but can also keep it sunny side up. Word on the streets is they are a little behind schedule due to having to spend a lot of extra time engineering a safety booster seat for their navigator.

In other news... Kev, Jamie, and the Mike's continue to add new boats to their collections. The Sutphen crew is planning a good showing for 2012. Adam continues to seek out "swimmers", while Pat's still talking about selling and going big. Rumor has it a certain Sonic will break the around LI record this year, all while still running Alpha drives. Robb's boat will get an extra layer or ten of wax for the 2012 season. John-boy isn't doing much with his boat, although he's vowed to not be so outspoken this season. Mike T. swears he'll take one of his many 32'-34' boats out at least three times this year, although the over/under is set at "once" by the guys taking action on this. Ego 1 is getting a new swim platform thanks to the folks at OP and should be coming home in mid March. Nate and Justin are still on the search for a trailer that's not twice as long as their boat (if anyone knows of a like new Myco for a 29 for less than $500, please contact them). Amazingly, Frank and his boat threaten to be even prettier for the 2012 season, is this even possible???

Lastly, Fran says "it's coming!" and that all he cares about is "running that sh!tbox with outboards down!"
