Default Lake Winni Question?

Going up this summer rented a house on the lake with a dock and I want to bring my 16 Donzi. The boat was originally registered in New Hampshire. Seller said he used to boat on the lake all the time. My question is there any local laws I need to know? Are there public launching ramps? Are there any licenses or permits needed?

Thanks

Several boat ramps

A boating license is required for the state of NH

Hopefully that donzi isn't fast or loud, because both are illegal on winni!

You need a boaters license. BTW, NH does not accept the online Boat-Ed NH certificate. -wasted 4 hrs of my life and 35 bucks to find this out...

I think you can take the online deal for a weekend pass or week pass if you are just visiting. 45 MPH limit on the entire lake. I hear it is not strickly enforced, I have only heard of one guy getting a ticket. You will probably get pulled over so make sure you have everything in order. Get a chart and study it. There are a lot of places that can sneak up on you if you don't know were they are.

Take the Ohio on line class. It states it's accepted in all states and Canada.

Ive heard of several people getting tickets, and the boat needs to have some form of noise control if it has thru hull exhaust, so if you don't have mufflers get them

+2 on the chart lots of rocks depending on lake depth there is a section called the witches because the rocks sticking up look like witches hats lots of nail biting at night
