I am heading to Montauk on Saturday, and taking the wife out for her first ride on Sunday with some friends, probably Claudios or Sag. What are your plans?

Dunno yet, stayed over in montauk last weekend and that place is booming. Lots of new clubs/bars opened up and a lot of younger hamptons crowd has moved out there. Ill Prolly hit the pavillion up Fri afternoon then I might head over to claudios sat and stay the night on shelter. Sunday play it by year.

That's such BS, I would like to see how many problems they had with owners of other types of boats, but they never got the boot. I'm going to call and ask them today if they allow cigarette boats.

I havent had good luck there either. Once with my boat @ Marine Basin. Guy at the counter had a huge attitude, they moved my boat around while we were gone and never moved the fenders, etc. Other time was with Frank and got neg'ed just about everywhere when they asked what type of boat we were in. Why ask what type of boat if the marina's full?... I was there for the 4th last year though and it was a good time, place was packed.

My trailer's in a million pieces in my driveway, boat's in the river with a huge brown ring around it. I Hope to have the trailer back together this weekend, then need to try to register it, get the boat clean, and back in the water by wednesday...

Luckily my mom/stepdad just got a 35 Lightning w/HP 500s and they need some pointers... so we'll be out sunday in that somewhere.

4th..?? Havent seen much of anybody this year.

There's my long post of the year.

I do agree with you about that being bs,just putting out there what I heard from fellow boaters who have tried to go there, one jerk shouldn't ruin it for the rest of us
