For the first time ever, I will have the same boat as last year! Top ends/valve job/new lifters are getting done as we speak. Then, blast and paint drives, and a good buffing on the boat...thats it. Thats all she needs!

Will be running my 28 AT again this year. Been having header issues the past few years so there has been a lot of downtime. I just had a top end rebuild and got new headers so I should be good to go this summer. Definitely want to hit Claudio's a couple times with you guys.

This is still questionable. But i guess all year its that way with me

Still a lot left to go, need to make a hatch and rig the motors. Depending on $$$ should be ready late may early June

Looking to see other places, where is Claudio's?... Are there any fun runs or poker runs in area?

Claudio's is a hang out (outdoor bar/restaurant) in Greenport NY (North Shore of Long Island). BIG gathering place for everything that is performance. All the guys from CT head over there and you also get all of the Long Island guys as well. Actaully, I know it got crushed during Sandy, so I am glad to hear that they are still opening up this spring.

Quite a few runs, and the NYC Run is back this year.

Port Jeff, Block Island, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, West Hampton Beaches (although if you're over 40ft you'll have a tough time getting in the channel as it's only about 4-5ft deep and about 10ft wide. Beautiful dock just you can't spin the boat once you're in there, ask me how I know)
Montauk...there's a ton of great boating in the long island/block island sound.

No bars rock quite like Claudios though...

We'll have one of the 24x7s on the water and hopefully both. We'll see beyond that.

Sounds cool to me, thanks for the info. I looked up claudio's up on google too, looks like they have a great seafood menu too. Only a few hour tow for me, which isnt too bad either. Ill have to try make an event this year.

I keep it in the water most of the time and still SNAP+CRACKLE+POP Should run 90 mph with scoops and 32 props in 1 to 2 ft waves (well maybe 3ft)

Hurt a motor last season. Probably wrap that up next month and I will see you guys out there. Warm weather can't come soon enough.

Going to be 70 degrees this week. Kreed where is everyone? There is still more action on the snowmobile sites then in here. Where is Jay Fan is he boating this year.....new rig? Justin he had some work done right? What is Scot's story???? Did your buddyJesse buy a boat yet? When is Lefty putting his motor in? (probalby an hour before he brings it to the ramp) What about John Boy? I could go on and on. This place is a ghost town. Not a good sign for the future of sport. Hopefully it picks up. Maybe you could lead it off by giving us the update on your boat.

Justin's boat will be in the water in about 2 weeks. Gonna be like a new ride and CLEAN. My boat will be ready maybe end of may or early June. Got too much going on to get it wrapped up any earlier :(

Engine is going in the next week or two!! Then start interior rebuild!
I should be out sometime this summer!

i will be ready in a week or two started boat up last weekend seems fine just need my back seat back and do some cleaning and most important stock the bar

John I wouldn't expect anything different from you. Justin and Nate should be set for the season. Still no update about or from Scot is he keeping his ride or selling it? Ow about everyone else?

Top ends are done, waiting on lifters. Lefty and I buffed both sides of boat last weekend. gotta do the deck and install heads...Be out early May....

Yeah right?...I really don't know what happened, but looks like he will be back, so not to worry.

I'll have my little rinky-dink bow-rider in the water and will use it when I can. I have my wedding early next year, then will be buying the house, so any new performance boat thoughts need to be put on hold at least until I get those two items off the list.... but this $$ burning a hole in my pocket is killing me, especially when spring starts up! :evilb:

Pete (gladhe8er) will be up and running and we'll hopefully have the Progression in the water a few times as well. Otherwise I am paying the dock fees and buying drinks at Claudio's this year for anyone that has room for me and the lady :party-smiley-004:

That would be correct. I just did some wiring past weekend, cleaned a few things up, playing with some other ideas, had to replace some ethanol eaten things...

Going to pull the valve covers and do the lash, change the oil, few other things, experiment with some pick up adjustment...pop the lid on and I'll probably be testing in a week or so...

I look forward to seeing that beast fly by me!!!!! :evilb:
