Heh, I'm 39 but look 50. Doing what we do for a living weathers you quick. Add to that having 3 pretty daughters and a wife and I don't expect to live much past 60. Might as well make it a fun ride.

My Wife and I really miss Winni (spent several seasons there during the 90's and did many weekend trips until the speed limits) but we do not have the required boaters cert.
We would like to spend a weekend there sometime soon, can we take the 30 min class like they do with rental boats?

Okay Biggus. Just found out 2 of my nephews and a cosuins boy that's up, took their tests from Florida online a few days ago and they are now certified.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I registered last night for the Maryland Boater Ed course. 3.5 hrs, should have it done by the weekend. Hope to plan a 3 day trip to Winni within the next couple weeks. Really miss that place.

Has anybody been out this weekend? The weather is fantastic!
Took a ride yesterday from our house in Moultonboro (Center Harbor side) over to Wolfeboro to look at the antique boats at the docks, went from there into Dillings cove, from there over to Roberts Cove, from there over to Alton Bay, then came home, put the dogs in the house, and went back to Meredith for an early dinner and cruised home while the sun was setting. What a gift this weather is this weekend. My only trouble today is figuring out where to go, I don't even have to worry about being home in time for the Patriots game.
If you are around, get out while you can, time is short up here.

Yeh, yesterday was great. We went to Alton (docks where packed), watched Marine Patrol pull over a light blue Amphibian - we have pics - was funny as hell.
The over to Wolfeboro and back. We are on the other side of Moultonberry.
Another funny....I got in frt of a slower boat and the a mid 30ft or bigger cruiser just past the graveyard. I brought the boat up near 60mph and looked behind me and the cruiser was right behind me. That was one fast cruiser - probably going mid 50's ? It must have packed some heat. LOL. He stopped/parked just past Lanes End.
