Long Island fun run Sept 6th
 

The committee of the LONG ISLAND STAMPEDE are having a free fun run on Sat Sept 6th with a rain date of Sun Sept 7th.
This is a free run!!!!!!!! We will be assembling at Braccos in Freeport anytime after 9am for coffee and Bagels. We will depart at 11:30 for a run to a lunch stop ( destination not decided yet) . The lunch stop will be approx 40 miles away. We are open to suggestions on where to have lunch. After lunch we will go back to Braccos in Freeport .

We will be having a high card draw with the winner takes all for anyone interested.
$50 per player gets 1 card at either Braccos I the morning or at the lunch stop. The envelopes will be opened back at Braccos and the highest card wins the whole pot. We will be limiting this to a single deck of cards(52) . If we sell out the entire deck the prize will be $2600. There is NO obligation to play but you can play as many hands as you or your passengers would like.

Are there any boat ramps in the area?

There are several good ramps close by. I will get addresses today and post them

Wantagh park has a nice boat ramp and is about a 15 min ride to Freeport

X2 Wantagh Park is a great ramp.

There is also a ramp in Freeport that I have used many times. Freeport is closer but Wantagh is definitely nicer though. I can get location if any body is interested.

BUMMER! I'm going to Long Beach for the weekend and was planning to stop by Bracco's to see all the boats fire up at 11:30 on SEP 6th! Oh well.
