Merry Xmas to all! Our NE section has kinda fizzled out. I figured that if we start a 2015 thread, we could stir up some new boat news in our area. Any new boat coming to the area? Anyone have any major projects getting under way? Anything for sale around here? This used to be the most exciting thread on OSO about 5 yrs ago.Lots of OL/Cigarette banter, boats changing hands often, and a lot of ball breaking. Sad to see it all gone. IMO, the NE is a great place to boat if you like rough water. So lets try to get our section up and running again, he had such a great time way back when......

Seeing how you asked about anything for sale , I have a clean 85 10 meter for sale in Groton. Have it listed on pop yachts for $29500 but VERY negotiable . Low 20's will take it for a fellow oso'er . This past season was the first season it has remained shrink wrapped for at least 20 years. As seen at Claudios for the past 2 decades.

Anyone heading to the 2015 NYC Boat Show? I'll be there as it's a tradition for us! Even though there has only been 1 or no performance boats in the past few years, I still love to go and get my new boat fix. Last year I contemplated a Monterey 328SS with twin big blocks. Sweet, sporty boat with a ton of space to party!

Got a local shipper to make the trip up. At this point might not get it home till after the first.

I have the motor out of our Nordic jet boat, simple repaint, freshen up, and Checkmate needs to be buffed and cleaned up.. Selling both and hopefully moving into a Cafe or Top Gun..

I've got a lot of projects going. Got backed up last year but were on target for this year. Hawk is getting 2 new 509's afr heads, hopefully some pressure makers on top :) may save that part for next season. Have some pretty nice hardware I maintain now so if my boat is lame or doesn't get used that's ok lol

Doing some work on the Nortech over the winter and hopefully it's ready for spring.

Sold the 6's and going to Arnesons

Rebuild the crash boxes
Changing up the engine hatch a little

u should put two green motors in it. I know where u can get one at a pretty good price ;)

Yes, but the guy is getting a divorce and doesn't know if they will be involved, so its a shaky deal to say the least.

We got a few projects in the shop here in syracuse! Once the dash is done on my cafe it'll be delivered to Pro Boat in jersey for the new owner to enjoy. I have my Carbon Top Gun project going on as well. Have the motors out, boxes coming, speedies coming for it i think. painting it eventually this winter. And another gun in the shop for paint ATM.

The plan is to build a shop right on rt 11 on 81 north of cicero in the spring. So once that is built well be looking at having a open house and plan a poker run that weekend as well. Would love to have fellow OSO'ers there!

I believe we are looking to change things up in 2015 so be sure to keep an eye out for some new fun and exciting activities for 2015.

Me and sick stinger took probably one of the all time worst cross country trips in 2014.
I will not be doing that in 2015 that's for fkn sure.

Towed from Missouri.
Broke down in Illinois, ohio, west Virginia, Pennsylvania. Finally ditched the truck in Pennsylvania and got a rescue tow. Got a flat in Connecticut.

22 hour ride quickly turned into 2 1/2 days. Good times!!!! :) that was a trip to remember for sure!!!!!!!!

ya. Here's to breathing in excessive amounts of 2 stroke warm smoke in 2015 ;)

No sale yet. A couple interested. She's wrapped up tight for the winter, so I'd be surprised if it goes before the spring. Who knows...

Next? College for Nickotine and possible downsize to a smaller, single engine cheaper to run.

(Although we did get a GoPro Hero 4 (4k res) for Christmas!)

I will, trust me! It's going to kill me to see the cafe sell, but it's only temporary. I have enough YouTube videos to keep us occupied for a few years lol
