Default 1000 Islands transient slips

Going to the 1000 Islands for a week in either July/August, haven't decided yet. Planning on spending the week on the boat, since it'll be just me. Anybody have any recommendations for which marina I should get a slip at for the week?

I've been many times before, just never used the boat as lodging up there.Thx

Where do you want to stay. (A bay, cape Vincent, Clayton etc). Do you need shore power or pump out or just a dock?

Somewhere between Clayton and A-Bay preferably. Yes to shore power

Keewaydin state park is decent. I believe they have docks with and without power and showers as well. Its just outside a bay. If you are in a loud boat make sure you are not drinking, speeding and that all your safety gear is up to date as you will probably be stopped and inspected for no reason at all. The water police are crazy up there, its much more quiet down near Clayton and cape Vincent.

Bonnie Castle has a nice sheltered marina with full services. Can stay aboard the boat and use the boat house services like showers etc. or get rooms at the hotel.
