Sorry Shaun see you next year.
Rich
I ran 240 miles and only broke both drives and was able to run the entire day, one stuck in gear and the other would not go back in at the dock. I will also be there next year. Upper gear set on one and shifting fork on the other.

That would be great ! I saw some parts I can use while I viewed your footage on YOUTUBE.

After seeing some of the other footage from other boats, my suggestion if people only have one camera it might be the best interest to have it on the bow going North that early in the day. The sun seems to have washed a lot of footage out when it was out. Then switch the camera to the transom for the ride back as you will have full sun on the boats bows on the way back.

If you have 2 cameras then obviously put one on the bow and one on the back, but I can't emphasize it enough how important it is to move the cameras around whenever you stop.
For editing purposes it provides more angles and more of the action that is happening around you. No one will sit through 20 minutes of a looking at a rooster tail, except in my case I have to in hope someone moves into the frame.

Another great position is to frame the rooster tail one side of the frame or the other. This way yes you still get the rooster tail but primary focus will be the boats you are passing or the ones passing you.

So far the footage received is usable except for the portrait iPhone footage. I know it is people's 1st instinct to hold their phone vertical , but the footage becomes useless unless it is good enough to insert it into a portion of a horizontal "Landscape" framing.

Just a few thoughts for everyone should we do this again in the future. :)
