Cool OPA Fall River Grand Prix August 28, 2016

Fall River Grand Prix event is growing fast! We have added a boat parade on Saturday night the 27th with a live concert, sponsored by Coors/Miller, Empire Hyundai and the Tipsy Seagull.
This year the City has created a new spectator viewing area directly on the course with bleacher seating or bring your own beach chair! The area is shaded with vendors and can hold an approximate 4000 people. All seating will be FREE of charge on the Fall River Line Pier!
Of course, you can view the race from Borden Light Marina and Tipsy Seagull where there will be a race village, pit row and launching areas are located.
Mark your calendars, this will truly be an amazing weekend!!

For those coming by water there is plenty of space to anchor on the westerly side of the course. You will be able to listen to the race live on WPRO.

Should be bigger and better this year. With roadwork and new exits completed, access to Borden Light Marina will be so much easier than last year. 13 more days!!!!!!

I may come up in my 22 C.C. and anchor. How deep is the river at the race site? I want to make sure I have enough line for two hooks. I'm assuming its going to be impossible to tie up at the Tipsy, any suggestions where we could tie up, or grab a mooring and a launch? Thanks
