John is was great to meet you, thanks for getting us there, sorry we lost you, we turned around and couldn't find you, hope everything is ok. It was a rough wet crossing but we made it. Didn't get to meet anyone in the Cigarette but you made it look easy in that beautiful boat. All in all it was a great day, thanks to all that made it happen. Thanks Jamie

I give you guys an extreme amount of credit for not turning back and making it across the sound. We all got soaked in my boat! We were shocked to see you guys pulling up to the meeting area. My hats off to you. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet all of you guys Look forward to doing another run with you all! had a great time despite the rough ride there and back

Jamie it was nice meeting you guys as well. You and Eric were right in front of me in one of the no wake zones. I stopped to ask a Tow Boat US boat that was sitting there about any places to buy fuel. I was concerned that I might not make it back to the ramp. I burned a lot of fuel fighting all of those waves. You guys took off and I was to far back to catch you. I went another 10 plus miles up the river and never found you. My phone battery died and I wasn't sure where the meeting location was. When I got home I looked at all the info again and realized I was almost there. DAMN!!!! I turned back to soon.

Todd don't think turning back didn't come to mind LOL. That was some big water for sure. One wave came right over my bow and right over the windshield. inside the boat soaking me. It was nice meeting you, sorry I didn't meet up with you guys at the pizza stop.Maybe next year it will be calmer.
