Run Length : apx 62 miles each way

We will be leaving out of Stony Point Marina heading north up the beautiful Hudson River to Kingstons Rondout Creek. Along the way we will stop and regroup at the halfway point, the Newburgh Bridge. When we arrive at Old Savannah, David and his crew will have 2 bars open for cocktails, one inside and one outside. There will be a buffet BBQ lunch set up for us. Old Savannah never disappoints. When we leave the restaurant, we will group together in the river, and all head back south together. The ride back is a straight ride back to stony point.

Please remember this is a FUN RUN. To make this easier on Chris and I, so that we also can enjoy this FUN RUN, please help Chris and I by pre paying. Let us know your boat, and how many will be in your crew. This year the marina is going to help us out by collecting ramp fees themselves.

There is NO entrance fee for the event, once again its a fun run.

For Friday night anyone that would like to join us, we have a little (or big) get together at 208 Grill right out in front of the hotel. Food, drinks or just hang out and meet new or old friends. we will be there at 7:00.

For anyone that is or would like to stay over Saturday , or if you are from the area, we have a private room at Napolis Italian Restaurant set up for 8:00. If you will be attending this dinner please let us know so we can give the restaurant a close head count.

Finally some of my easy requests.
Please have boat,crew count and money done as soon as possible. On the day of the run please check in with us when you get to the marina and get your wrist bands. All help around the docks and ramp area is very much appreciated and also makes things move along faster. Last year we had 68 boats, we have to get everyone in the water and out of the marina around 10:30-11:00. Please don't everyone show up at 10:00.
These are not big requests, but they will help Chris and I enjoy the day being with friends that much easier.

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE be careful. I say it all the time , THIS IS NOT A RACE. We all like to go fast, but we don't need anyone getting hurt. So give other boaters some space.

This run is open to all boaters. Anyone can attend.
