Open lakes forecast right now is for 3-5s on Sunday and that's the best of the days. Shower and t-storms Friday and Saturday. Figures...it's gorgeous all week long and turns to crap for the weekend.

Was out there today. 2- maybe 3 ftrs. winds out of the east/southeast, maybe 10-15 mph. Those jets are cool. Can't believe how close they fly to one another. Even in the turns !!!.
Boy, Wait till someone from the harbor b!tches about how loud our boats are? I seen ALL the complainers about our loud boats sitting on the backs of their cruisers today, watching all the jets go overhead. Did'nt hear one complaint about the noise they were makin.

Again, the airboss will make the go/no-go decision, primarily based on visibility and ceiling. Most airshows can be flown with even a 2500 AGL ceiling but the vertical maneuvers might be modified or eliminated. Personally, I like the low-level stuff anyway.

The lake sounds ok. Just not the thunderstorms.
We may just wait till Labor day weekend for the Gary Air and Water show.

Yesterday was great! We ran to New Buffalo.

The forecast keeps changing hour by hour. I guess we'll just have to play it by ear with the weather. We've had our boat at the harbor since thursday, so we're going out nomatter what.

There's gonna be a big dock party on our dock all weekend, so if the water's too choppy in the lake, G-dock will be rockin.
