Almost has an "old school" look to it IMO, but modernized because of the colors.
Great looking boat. I like the little one parked next to it also :) |
Overall really good...but it looks like a freaking bomb went off in the cockpit and cabin...so there is a lot of cleaning and things to put back together. A couple of hinges and actuaters for the hatches were not hooked up which is not that big a deal but its better done by someone that knows what they are doing as it relates to screwing thing into fiberglass (just don't want to mess it up)
|
I got a feeling I know who gets to do the SCREWING
|
Not this time....the hatches are going back to Nabbers

Nice graphics. Classic yet modern.
The opposite version from your sketch looks good too. Don't think you could have gone wrong either way. |
I really like the colors and the design. Very classy yet looks like a hot rod Cig.

What a phuckin mess, left at 5:30, made it to Kennedy ave exit, got off and went back home, got home at 10:30. :( Those 598/900's you're talkin about, is a very good combo. And he's very conservative about the hp#'s, they can very easily make way over 1000 hp with a little tweaking, and still be very mild and reliable. Dave absolutely WILL NOT build anything that will not stay together for a long time. If it's a combo that he's not 110% confident with, he won't do it. He would'nt care if ya stood on your head and shot sparks outa your a$$. We've talked about different rod lenght combo's for some nitrous and turbo engines that he's currently building for us, and he's got the package's that work and stay together, and he's not changing it for anybody. You'll be happy at the end of summer if you decide to use him for your engine builder. |
Beautiful boat, great colors and graphics.
|
I'm going with Dave hands down, just have my other Top Gun to sell as well (have a guy approved on a loan and is flying in this weekend for the thumbs up/down)
Daves a nice guy and I like his approach to things...like you said I could have over 1000hp but turn them down for reliability and get a few seasons out of them! I heard that area was a nightmare cause of the storm/ lake affect...sucks what a waste of a morning!!! |
[QUOTE=Kool-Aid Man;2454092]I'm going with Dave hands down,
Daves a nice guy and I like his approach to things...like you said I could have over 1000hp but turn them down for reliability and get a few seasons out of them! It'll al depend on a few things. 1st, how many hp will the drives handle??? 2nd, I've seen some of his so called 900's, that actually did 950 on the dyno. He's very conservative about his hp #'s Those same engines with a pulley and jet change, would do well over 1000, and still be very reliable if that's what you tell him that you're gonna want to do down the road. To do that you're gonna need the 598's, and some pretty good blowers with intercoolers too. |
You could probably find a couple of "blowers" in Moda, no?
|
i'm getting the konrads with the heavy duty gear set and really I'm not dead set on a hp number...just some good hp with the 598's thats dependable and I'll be a happy guy!!
Goota Love Moda!! |
