All of the no wake zones slow them down a bit, and it helps to have a pretty fast boat so I just drive around all of them

Don't get me wrong smitty, Im not tryin to knock the chain whatsoever. If I knew it better, id probably come up there with my boat. I know several guys who love it up there and have a blast.

I visited back in 05, and boated for the weekend up there. I didn't hit anything, but my buddy did. Right in the middle of the river just before getting to paradise cove, coming from pistakee. Pretty much destroyed his prop and lower.

Yes I agree that Lake Michigan is nice clear now. Does anybody remember back in the mid 80's when it was not clear at all. Then Zebra mussels came along and helped clean it all up..

Mild...

No offense taken !!!!

If you want to come up for a day, let me know and you can bring your boat or ride with me...

The trick is to trim up when idling and get on plane quickly..........
