Another NEWBIE
Hello all My name is Mac I have been in the southest michigan area most of my life I have seen many of your boats out on the water very impressive!!! I am now looking to be a owner of a 39 or 33 in the near future. I have so many memorys of seeing Dennis's old boat "Jaws" I was so awed by that boat when I was a kid. I can't tell you how many times my friend and I would go over to the Casino just to follow him in to listen to the engines ( we were 12 and 13). So now that I am a bit older I have the itch to by and OX myself. I know the manufacture well and I know about some of the history. I have ridden in a 39 and was impressed like no other. I will be asking alot of questions and will take whatever feedback you guys would like to give out.

Mark did you buy the hull from Dennis? or someone else? I would love to buy it I think If I bought it I would keep it still as "jaws" as long as I put enogh power to hold up the name. that boat is kind of nestalgic. Mark pm me with a price and some recent pics if you have some I would also like to know what all has been done, that boat has had a ruff life.

Re: Another NEWBIE
The Jaws boat has been totally redone since the picture was taken. The boat belongs to the guy who throttled the boat when it raced. The boat in the picture is 48 feet. If you look at the picture with 2 boats, the red boat is the one that would be for sale and it is a totally redone 39 with brand new everything.

I thought that was dennis's pleasure boat I didn't relize it was his old race boat. I knew had had 2 or 3 at one time. I appreciate the offer on your boat but I belive its going to be out of my league in price I also have been considering a 33 mor than a 39 since the 39 is to wide for my pole barn dors they are onlly 11 foot wide. I Like your boat alot but there are some things I am picky about. Why did you bring the transome exaust up out of the engine covers any reason? I know its much easier to pull the engines that way.

Re: Another NEWBIE
That would be a question for the factory. I think it has something to do with NOT mixing water in the exhaust. My water jacketed headers dump the water elsewhere. There never was transom holes in the boat. Lets just say the motors have a unique sound.
