Default Old school 1990 35' Express project starting soon

We are about to start rigging my 35' Express real soon that I picked up last November. Been collecting parts the last few months.
This is the plan and what I have so far.
540 CID Littlefiels blower motors that make right at 1000 HP each.
SSM #6 wet sump drives.
Bam 1500 Trannies.

Sparky told me, If that one was really built in the 90's it would have been built for the Late Randy Lienbach that died a few years back testing his MTI . The boat was never picked up there was a fued between my old boss Ross and Randy and it was still sitting around the shop when I left in the spring of 2000. The 35' race was the 33' race with a set of falseies added after the fact for ruleing at the time. That was one of there best working hulls .

I'm really excited to start the project and bring her back. Any help suggestions on drive height and engine setback would be great. Here is a few pictures of her. As you can see she need everything gas tanks are installed but that's about it for now. Thanks K.C.

K.C.
Looks like an awesome hull! It'll no doubt be a fun ride when you get er done! I've been way too lazy with the 39 I bought 2-1/2 years ago but I've finally got it to the point it's almost ready to add water.

From your post it sounds like you already have the drives and trannys but if not let me know. I have a complete set of Wet Sump SSM number VI, number six if I offended any Romans. with the non swept back skegs.

They are complete with drive line transom assemblies, Huber 1330 trannys, hydraulic helm, power steering pump and trim pumps. Pretty much everything you'll need other than some hoses.

It's good stuff but needs paint. I have one of the transom assemblies apart now and freshly painted black, ready for reassembly. I'd like to get $22k for all.

I thought seriously about it. Found a set of 8's but older style and would have to reverse rotate one engine. Didn't want to go that route. New arnosons as good as they are the price is over my budget.
