I talked to several Arneson distributors in the country and they said to contact Ocean Express because they usually do not install them on their boats. However, the type of boating I do, I have to constantly struggle to get on plane. The drives trimmed down would make it so much easier to get on plane. Have not heard anything was just wondering if you had some old one laying around. I was wondering how #6 mercs would work instead. It seems like many racing teams use #6 for better turning. I understand that there is a poker run in Monroe, MI. Do you know when it is? Looking forward to here from you.

Mark, i do not currently know of anyone who has 6's on there 39.. but Tizbad has 3's ( or is it 5's? i forget..) on his, he can tell you how he likes them if he sees this post. The 6 drive is better for turning, and trimming than the Arneson, but i dont think its as reliable, and unless its dry sumped, it robs way more HP than the arneson does. I have looked around and dont have any trim cylinders... ill keep looking and asking around any of our guys and see if i cant come up with something. I have never heard of a 39 that had trouble getting on plane tho... what ratio, prop and horsepower are you running. Also, measure with a staight edge directly inline with the drive from propshaft centerline, to the bottom of the boat and let me know what that is as well, might have the drive a lil off. Thanks, hope to hear back from you soon.
