there is a outboard one in the pics of oceanexpress in this forum,go back a coupla months to get to that section,its on long island ny,there is a pic of it and a phone # i dont know if he still has it ,b ut good luck,maybe if you are in trested,i'll take the motas!!! tripps

I think the 33' is a great riding boat. The boat has a big beam which gives a stable ride. Sparky @ Vicious knows his stuff but I think the boats are totally different. Both boats are nice. Maybe we could Vicious1 to post some pics.

My Ocean Express is going through a few changes this winter.

Boot will have his boat done this year so we can have all of the Ocean Express owners go to the LEOPA Poker Run in Monroe, Michigan at the end of July. Right Boot??

tizbad-We have talked to someone at OE, just can't remember the persons name. He sent us a few different boats.

A friend has a 33 with 598ci naturally aspirated and #5's nice boat. I think he had the interior changed to 3 stand up bolsters. He was talking about selling it and buying a new boat.If your interested I can put you in contact with him.

Considering a 39 OX myself. what are the problem areas to pay particular attention to when checking out an older OX? Are there any showstoppers? Also, with regards to the ASDs - any concerns? prefer timmable or fixed?

1. Get the trimmable ASD, a must.b $8,000 to upgrade later.

2. Buy a complete boat that runs and test drive. Run the boat in the ruffest water you could find and you will be amazed how great it performs.

The OE at SOTW is a 31'. The 33' is a much bigger boat in many ways.

what kind of steering tie bars did you guys use ? i got to put some stainless or something on cuz i cant keep up with this,any suggestions?

My 1985 tie bar is OK except for rusty eye bolts on ends. No history of salt-water usage. Used to live in South Florida though, where salt water eventually wins...
