Al Copeland P arty in ST.Pete!!
I talked to Big Al yesterday and he will be attempting to sponsor one of his Famous New Awlins get togethers in St Pete. AS founder of the Popeyes Race Team (and my best friend) he feels as though the tradition should continue. Although we have many obstacles to cross as 90% of his New Orleans restaurants were virtually destroyed as were his Hotels, and his Commissaries, AS he said "The Show must Go On" For those of you who have never been to one. Go!!!
The food is to die for and he always has some great entertainment. As is his tradition , if he can pull this off he brings a rolling car/boat/toy show to town. Always the Gentleman ever the showman. He brings a lot of offshore tradition to the table and I want him to know publicly how much I appreciate this effort. " Lez Le Bon Ton Roullette"

That's the plan!!!
I ate at a Copeland's Saturday, and the food was Awesome to say the least. And while I dont Know Mr.Copeland personally, his contributions to Offshore racing, and food are top notch. And I am ready to see Stan put that boat up front. SCL should provide some great racing, the Duck will be there as well.

Damn!! and I thought the Fried Chicken in Corpus was great....You Louisiana boys know how to eat!!
Stan supplied the whole OSS team with a full Popeye's spread all weekend. (I think they have a deep fryer in the back of their Hauler)

Just trying to add lbs to the compitition 
I think we will be a lot closer to being dialed in for SCL. Playing with these guys is definitly major league material. If you win against them (Motley ,Page, Peppers, Ettore, Dirty Duck, David Brian) You have to hang it out and do your homwework! We will definitly have plenty more chicken for St Pete as we need all the help we can get

Come to think of it...I did see the "Crew" guys muching away on several "private" boxes of chicken and biscuits.
All you scl guys are hanging it out!!!! The best of the best, competition is fierce and it seems anyone of you could win on a given day.
These are the Worlds ....winner take all. Popeyes could very well go home with a WC.
